

Edward Xavier Smith, 24, departed from this life on February 14, 2023. Xavier, as his family called him, was born on September 30, 1998 in Tucson, Arizona; The son of Edward Damon Smith and Vickey Rochelle Smith.
Xavier graduated from Tucson High Magnet School in May of 2016. After graduating from high school, Xavier continued his education at Pima Community College and started his journey through adulthood. He worked and made many friends along the way at McDonalds, Target, and Krispy Kreme’s where he was just promoted. Xavier loved playing sports such as soccer and basketball, Xavier was in orchestra during high school, enjoyed watching anime, and he loved playing video games with Kingdom hearts being his favorite. His favorite marvel character of all time was Deadpool. He showed both Deadpool and Kingdom Hearts were his favorites by having tattoos on his shoulder and chest of Deadpool and a quote from Kingdom Hearts on his forearm. Xavier also loved refereeing soccer and he made the uniform
look good. Xavier was married October 4th 2022 to his wife Nisha Darjee.
Xavier was proceeded in death by his Great-grandmother Estine Weston, grandfathers’ Edward Butch Smith and Alvin Kendrick Sr. and his aunt Marie Antoinette Jones and is survived by his Wife Nisha Darjee, his parents Edward and Vickey Smith, his siblings Tanisha (Dale Dunn), Erica, Aleph, and Imani, his niece and nephew Nylie and Dahani, his in-laws Amber and Nar Darjee, his brother in law Nishan and sister in law Nisu, his Grandmothers Willie Kate Kendrick of Dayton, OH and Charlotte Moore-Toomer of E. St. Louis, IL, his aunts and uncles Tonya of North Carolina, Deborah of Ohio, Alvin Jr. of Texas, Eric of Georgia (RaShonda), Shelly of Arizona (Horace "Ace") and his 29 cousins and an abundance of family and friends who were like family to Xavier.
A service for remembrance and celebration of life will be held at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday February 25th 2023 at 10:00am to 12:00 Noon.
