Erwin Frank Northey

Erwin/Erv/ "Shark" passed peacefully at his home in Tucson, Arizona. Family was always first to him. Losing Bev, his wife of sixty years, was a most difficult transition in his life. He is survived by six children, Lynn, Mike, Becky, Sue, Muggs and David; twelve grandchildren Jessica, Aron, Stacey, Craig, Chuck, Steve, Chris, Max, Allison, Matt, Emily, Ariell; and three great-grandchildren Jacob, Anna, and Vance. He now joins Bev to walk together forever.

Second to his family he loved cars having a career as service manager in car dealerships in Minnesota, then moving to Tucson to be an insurance adjuster for State Farm, and, taking pride belonging to the Saguaro Region Cadillac-LaSalle Club, in addition to his own collection of model cars. He was also involved in the bar and restaurant business, sponsoring sport teams over the years.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 26 at 1:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with graveside committal at 3:00 p.m. at East Lawn Chapel 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Serenity Hospice and Palliative Care, American Diabetes Association, or, American Heart Association.
