Flossie Lamay McCowan went home to heaven on Monday, March 25th, 2019. Born to Almo McCowan and Gabie Cox-McCowan in Lewisville Arkansas, on May 19th 1947. She is survived by five of sisters: Darlener Shackleford, Verniece Weatherless, Beatrice McCowan, Betty Jones, Elizabeth Williams and seven brothers, Henery McCowan, Lee McCowan,Phil McCowan, Robert Williams, Frank McCowan, and LeeRoy McCowan. Eight children: James Lamay, Lawanda Lamay, Yvette Lamay, LaShell Lamay, Markus Lamay, Cornell Littleton, Lavell Littleton, and Darryl Taylor. Along with 41 grandchildren: Daryl, Steven, Theo, Shauntia, Shanell, Cordell, James, Derek, Myisha, Nyisha, Ebony, Kayla, LaShe’, Prince, Funtasha, Khalette, Khaleisha, Covell, Ebony M, Nhyomi, Jhasmyn, Lavell, Flossie, Cornell, Corvell, Charmyla, Amareon, Michael, Gabriella, Chardanae, Chassidie, Amaya, Joe Jo, Nezariah, Darryl, Isaiah, Xavier, Jayden, Malaysia, Faith, and Denaya; And great grandchildren Terrance, Sarell, Alize, Kaiden, Nevaeah, Alani, Zylah, Tayshaun, Jada, Denzel, Derek, Natavion, Nehemiah and Deon. Flossie was predeceased by 4 of her brothers Rosevelt Williams, John Williams, Ledel Williams, and John McCowan and 2 sisters Dattie Bell and Mollie Bell.
