

in hospice care at Peppi’s House, after a long struggle with post-polio syndrome and dialysis. He was born on February 24, 1936 to Peter and Lena Frisina in New Jersey. Frank attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. He married Florence Trapani on January 20, 1963, and they had six children (Amy, Peter, Paul, Carrie, Tony, and Joseph). Frank later married David Marsh.
Frank worked as an architectural draftsman, and he retired from the City of Tucson. He was an avid designer, with a special interest in improving access for the disabled and, for most of his adult life, he was an avid bicyclist. He very much enjoyed music, was a lover of food, could find the humor in nearly any situation, was passionate about his family, was passionate about his faith and self-improvement, and was a founding member of Polio Epic, a support network for polio survivors and their families.
Frank is survived by ex-wife Florence Frisina, children Amy (Robert) Schill, Peter (Stacy) Frisina, Paul (Jessica) Frisina, Carrie Frisina, Tony (Cindy) Frisina, Joseph (Veronica) Frisina, 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents (Peter and Lena Frisina), his brother (Salvatore Frisina), and his spouse (David Marsh). Funeral services will be April 6, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church (3809 East 3rd Street, Tucson, AZ). Memorials or donations may be made to St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church.
