

Beloved father and husband, Frank Allen Reed, born on January 25, 1942 in Roseburg, Oregon to parents, Florence Mae and Harvey Allen Reed, passed into God’s loving arms on February 25, 2020 after a swift and sudden onset of Guillian–Barré syndrome.
Frank spent his entire youth in Roseburg with lots of family and friends. He exceled at sports, music, and scholastic endeavors. He attended Roseburg High School and then the University of Oregon-Eugene, where he earned his degree in Physics. He began his career as a proud and patriotic civil servant at the White Sands Missile Range in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
His career took him around the world and he made significant contributions to the United States (U.S.) Army and other branches of the military. During his civil service, which he referred to as his “civic duty,” he earned two Medals of Honor for his accomplishments. He was very proud to protect and serve the men and women of the U.S. military.
After twenty some years of service with the government, Frank began a consulting company, AVCON, while living in the Lake of the Ozarks region of Missouri. He finished out his career at Raytheon Corporation in Tucson, Arizona. Upon retirement, he and his loving wife, Roselyn Claude, stayed in Tucson, where they enjoyed traveling, gardening, photography, and were surrounded by a great community of friends.
Frank was a proud, intelligent, and honorable man. He was clever, witty, fun-loving—always ready with a joke—had a twinkle in his eyes, and grinning smile. He truly loved his family and friends. He was constantly ready to lend a helping hand and he gave great advice. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 33 years, Roselyne, daughter, Karol Lynn Reed, son, Kyle Allen Reed, and granddaughter, Aubrey Rose Stacy. He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey, mother Florence, and sister, Euleta (Leta) Jean Galla.
