Franklin Richard Fultz, born the 22nd of September 1949, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. He was a resident of El Paso since 1977 and was educated in Tucson, AZ. Rick began his career at Southern Pacific Railroad in 1971 and continued with Union Pacific Railroad for a total of 39 years of service. Rick was an avid volunteer and sportsman, known for his patience, kind-heart and sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Bowen Fultz and younger brother, Joe Pat. Rick is survived by his daughter, Desirée Lee Ann Fultz, sons R. Cody Fultz and Andrew Zack Fultz, and his former wife Cheryl Lee Ann Whitney. He is also survived by his mother Alyce Lee Hicks Fultz, sister Dixie Lee Fultz Moore, nieces Brianna Naomi Moore and Erika Lee Higuera, and nephew Morgan Higuera and countless friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 2 and Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 3 both at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY AND CEMETERY 5801 E. Grant Rd.
