Fred is preceded in death by his son. After retiring from the Air Force Fred set up his own real estate office here in town. Fred went into semi-retirement in 1979. Always an avid hunter, he also enjoyed flying ultra-light airplanes as a new hobby. Think of it as a hand glider with wings. In 1991 Fred married Bonnie. They had many adventures over their almost 22 years of marriage. Traveling in their motor home across the country many times, traveling also included several cruises to the Caribbean, Panama Canal and Alaska. But for the biggest and most desired trip he and Bonnie traveled to Egypt. According to his wife and daughter, Fred had a full and rich life with many, many friends.
