Gayla C Harrison

Gayla Camilla Harrison, loving wife, mama, gma, gee gee, sister, and friend to all. She was born January 8, 1959 in Mobile, AL to Glen & Billie Harrison ~ passed away in her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren at the age of 61, May 3, 2020 in Tucson, AZ.

Gayla is survived by her husband of 15 yrs, Luther J. Smith, her four children Shelby Christen (Dennis), Randall Burkett (Jessica), Billie Burkett (Gary), & Anna Danley (Chris), her seven grandchildren Amber, Adrian, Sophia, Tyler, Christian, Deinaira & Emilie, her five great grandchildren Carlos, Andrew, Aryanna, Sergio, & Laikyn, brother Gregory Harrison (Gail) niece Codi, nephew Foxx, & preceded by grandson Andrew Christen & great granddaughter Desma Jordan.

Family will be holding a “Celebration of Life” in her honor for Family, Friends and for those that knew and loved her. Please contact her children for more information.

Our mother wanted to be able to donate her hair to “Locks of Love” or “ Wigs for Kids”. The family has asked in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to either organization in her name.

Mom you will live on in our hearts,mind and memories forever. We know you are happy singing and dancing with the lord.
