I was so saddened to learn of Gerald's passing.  I know the last two years were such a struggle for Gerald as well as the family.  My deepest sympathy to you all.

I will always treasure the memories of his trips to Houston.  Praying for peace and comfort.

One of the finest people I ever had the privilege of knowing and working with. Gerald's vast knowledge as an engineer and his wonderful sense of humor will be dearly missed. The industry has lost a legend. May God bless the Munier family through these difficult times.

To the Munier family , I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I do have the greatest respect for your father  especially since he showed my daughter full acceptance in the family. He also became somewhat of a mentor to her while she worked her way through school and postgraduate work.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Gerald's family and friends.  Though I never met him I know he must of been a wonderful man because I know his brother Ron.  Rest in Peace.

He was the great mentor to me for last 40 years. I started doing moon light job for him in 1975 as a junior engineer. when I lost my job in 1983, he was the first one to tell me "Kishor, why are you working for someone? I will help you out & go on your own" My journey in engineering started that year and I have my own consulting firm for last 32 years.We talked about engineering even after work, during lunch and dinner. He became a great friend/family member and even attended the wedding of his daughter. He was a proud  CIVIL Engineer and always keen in helping others. We will miss him dearly and remember for the rest of my life for what I am today. May God give strength to Munier family to overcome the loss their father.

I lost my brother who was a good man. I have some great memories.  When we were teenagers we bought  a 1934 Ford and installed a used Mercury V-8 engine which we rebuilt and installed hot rod parts, that we bought from the Granatelli brothers (Andy Granatelli).  We raced the car in drag races at Granatelli's drag race strip on Sundays and came in 2nd three times! Gerald and I served in the U. S. Army.  He was sent to Iceland and I spent a year in Korea.  After we were discharged our family had moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We fished, snorkeled and water skied.  We also bought an old Hillman Minx 4 door car and drove to the University of Miami every day to get our degrees. His in Civil Engineering and mine in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to California to start his own engineering business and family. He will be greatly missed.
