Gilbert Warren Cole passed out of this world to an eternal home in heaven, on July 29, 2015 at age 91. He was born in Rose Hill, KS, and has lived in Tucson for 50 years. He is survived by his daughter, Norma (Bill) Burklow; and son, Dale Cole, both of Tucson, AZ; three granddaughters, Starla Jordan, Kimberly Sosa and Tawnisha Contessa; and two grandsons, Steve and Tom Burklow. He was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren. Gilbert served his country in the Army from 1943-1946 as an Airplane Electrical Mechanic. He worked as a farmer, mechanic and oil well driller and provided well for his family. In his later years, he enjoyed volunteering at the Drexel Heights Communty Center. Preceeding him in death were his parents, his wife, Mary, six siblings and many friends. Services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN, 5401 S. Park Ave. The family extends its appreciation to the workers in Memory Care at Emeritus at Pantano and the considerate and helpful people of Gentiva Hospice
