Gloria V. Wadlow, lovingly known to all as Nana, was born on February 8, 1943, and passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 82. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and generosity that will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew her.
A life stitched together with kindness, patience, and love. Gloria's hands were never idle - always sewing, quilting, giving, comforting. She found joy in the simple beauties of life: sunshine on her shoulders, the turning of pages of a good book, and a cup of hot tea with a sweet treat.... then salty..... then sweet.....then salty.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her open home, and her lifelong passion for quilting and sewing. Gloria took great joy in creating beautiful pieces and sharing her craft with others through the many quilting guilds and sewing groups she participated in throughout the years.
Above all, Gloria dedicated her life to her family. She poured her heart into raising her children, and in her later years, found immense joy in nurturing and supporting her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three sisters-Linda (Wally), Stella, and Frances (Ad); her three children-Connie (Joe), Chris, and Erica (John); her six grandchildren - Alexa, Sydney, Miranda, Mia, Gunner, and Memphis; and her precious great-granddaughter, Addison. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Gloria's love, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her memory will live on in every quilt she stitched, every smile she sparked, and every heart she touched.
