Grace Peeler Sullinger

Grace Peeler Sullinger, 13, of Vail, AZ passed away on Tuesday, 20 May 2014 at the University of Arizona Medical Center. Born in Fort Bragg, NC on 19 August 2000, she was the oldest child of Donna Marie Sullinger (Peeler) and Adam Eugene Sullinger. Grace lived most of her life in Hawaii and Maryland but came to Vail, AZ in 2012 when her father was stationed at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Grace was passionate about horses and was very involved in the 4-H Club Horse Project. She was a member of the Vail Community 4-H Club Horse Project program. She was full of life and a great student. Grace enjoyed the outdoors, archery, shooting, running, and of course, riding horses. She brought joy into the life of everyone who met her. Her smile was contagious and her quiet, reserved demeanor soothed everyone’s soul. Grace was a Christian who attended Pantanto Christian Church.

Grace is survived by her parents, Donna Sullinger and Adam Sullinger, and her sister Emma Claire Sullinger.

The family will receive friends Friday, 23 May 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Pantano Christian Church, 1755 S. Houghton Rd., Tucson AZ. A celebration service will be held on Saturday, 24 May 2014 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Pantano Christian Church. A graveside service for family will commence at 12:30 pm on Saturday, 24 May 2014 at East Lawns Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ.
