Hector M. Trujillo, 66 years old, born February 18th, 1952 in Tucson Arizona, to Mary and Carlos Trujillo, 3rd of 6 children. Hector died at home peacefully surrounded by his family after battling colon cancer for 5 years. He loved the sport of boxing and was real good at it in his young years, but this was the hardest fight he had ever fought in his life. An excellent meat cutter he was, not by career, or trade, work or just a job but by a gift from God. He loved what he did for a living and was proud to teach and share his knowledge of meat cutting with others. He worked and handled his knives with smoothness, like a dance, an expert in this God given gift. Hector was a shy, quiet kind of guy, but when you met him and started to chat with him he was a great conversationalist. If you could keep him interested in your conversation you made a friend for life. Hector loved boxing, the history of Tucson, and music. His memory was as sharp as his boning knives, you could ask him any question about artist and their music or lyrics and he could give the year it came on the radio. He loved remembering what existed back in the days when he was a little guy. Things important to him were a must to remember, dates, times, birthdates, people. Hector loved cruising the streets of Tucson in his 67 GTO and his favorite time of day was early in the morning watching the sunrise. His favorite meal was breakfast during the sunrise and his idea of a great vacation was traveling Arizona. He loved listening to oldies, the Beatles, having cookouts, grilling chuck steak and drinking Coors beer. His favorite little people were his grandchildren, all 7 of them. He married twice to the same woman because his love was stronger than all the energy in this world. He held near and dear to his heart all the friends he made along the way, especially those that helped take care of him these past 5 years. Hector felt one of his greatest accomplishments was raising his children. He was so proud of each and every one, adored them all. Hector was a great father and grandfather, a loving caring husband and a forever best friend. Hector is survived by his wife Georgina R Leeth, children- Hector E. Trujillo (Valerie Trujillo), Carlos G Trujillo, Clyde N. Trujillo and daughter Samantha S. Trujillo, grandchildren- Michelle, Aryssa, Cara and Hector E. Trujillo II, Adrian N. Trujillo, Joseph III and Alaina Whiteow, also survived by brothers Jesus Trujillo, Eddie Trujillo (Donna Trujillo) and sister Martha Newton (David Newton) and brother in law Efren Garcia, and many loving nieces and nephews. Hector is predeceased by mother and father Maria Eloisa and Carlos R Trujillo, Brother Carlos Trujillo and Sister Sylvia Garcia. Hector you will be greatly missed, forever loved. Rest in Peace beyond the sunset.
Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning
When with our Saviour heaven's begun
Earth's toiling ended, O glorious dawning
Beyond the sunset when day is done.
Beyond the sunset, no clouds will gather
No storms will threaten, no fears annoy
O day of gladness, O day unending
Beyond the sunset eternal joy.
Beyond the sunset, a hand will guide me
To God the Father whom I adore
His glorious presence, His words of welcome
Will be my portion on that fair shore.
Beyond the sunset, O glad reunion
With our dear loved ones who've gone before
In that fair homeland we'll know no parting
Beyond the sunset forever more!
