Hugo Arturo Cervantes Jr.

Hugo age 32, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. Hugo was born June 8, 1989.

Born in 1989 on June 8th Hugo was the first boy of the family, second to big sister Blanca who watched after him, protected him and taught him many things. He was born in Tucson Arizona and spend most of his life in Nogales with older cousins and big sister, where they had fun, got in trouble and made memories in the streets of Nogales. He was always a happy little kid full of energy and although he grew up to be a big strong man he was still a happy kid at heart. Hugo was always a happy man no matter what. He was a family man and always thought of his loved ones everyday. Every holiday, every event there was to attend and even if it was a normal day he thought of his family. Whether they needed something or would have just appreciated a small gesture.

He attended school at Los Ninos Elementary, then Chaparral Middle School and then graduated from Desert View High School, where he played football for four years as a starting center, he played lacrosse and he was apart of the Air Force Junior Reserved Officer Training Corp also known as AFJ ROTC. He did ROTC all four years and graduated in 2007. He got along with anyone in high school and out of high school. He had many jobs after high school and earned his bartending license as well. He spend most of his years working at home style galleries, where he became a loyal employee and family. He also got to work a little at the Funky Monk as a security guard ensuring peace in the area for people to enjoy themselves worry free. He always was a protector of his family friends and anyone who needed it. It goes without a doubt to say that he lived his life as a good man, a child of god and a good human. He gave love, protected and took care of his family when they needed it. He will be missed very very much but we are all at peace that he made it to heaven and is watching upon us.

A visitation for Hugo will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at 4655, 5401 S Park AVe, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
