He passed away at home in Tucson, Arizona on August 18th 2016
James proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1954.
He then joined the Chelsea, MA Fire Department where he proudly served for 32 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Carol Keaveney, sister Eugene Francis Keaveney, daughter Patricia Murdock and husband Rich, son, James Keaveny III, step-daughter, Michele Preciado, step-sons, Dick Hannifin and partner Todd Tracy, Glen P. Hannifin and wife Bobbie, grandchildren, Marissa Murdock, Crystal Powell and husband James, Ringo Preciado, Cera Hannifin, Taylor Twilling, Morgan Serventi, great-grandchildren Emmett Powell, and Mackenzie Twilling.
He was preceded by his great grandson Kai Twilling.
He was a wonderful husband and life-partner, who will be greatly missed.

East Lawn Cemetery
5801 E. Grant Rd.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m.
