Joaquin "Jack" Gabriel Orozco

Joaquin Gabriel Orozco, (known by everyone by his nickname Jack) was 19 years old when he passed away on December 22, 2025. Jack was born on March 30, 2006 in Santa Clara, California. He graduated from Cienega High School on May 18, 2024.

Jack had several hobbies. He liked to hike up mountains throughout Arizona. He liked to cook healthy meals with wholesome food he personally selected at local grocery stores. He enjoyed playing basketball, bowling and weight lifting.

Jack was very kind and loved to give to others, both in his time and gifts. He taught a friend how to cook. He purchased an appropriate basketball for a young cousin and showed him how to shoot and dribble the basketball. He bought electrolytes for the Varsity Basketball team at Cienega High School. He often took treats to the school. He put others needs first.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Joaquin Gustavo Orozco.

He is survived by his parentis in loco father, William Ritz, his siblings, Trinity and Tayton Ritz, his mother, Renea Tebo, a few grandparents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held on January 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Tucson Baptist Church, 1525 Columbus Boulevard, Tucson, Arizona; Graveside Service will be at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Avenue, Tucson, Arizona at 11:30 a.m.; and a Reception will be held at 4870 North Wild Life Drive, Tucson, Arizona at 12:30 p.m.
