John Michael Towle Jr.

On Aug 5th, 2023 surrounded by loved ones John Michael Towle Jr. Was called back to the Lord. Stricken by cancer he endured great pain, hardly showing it and never complaining. Steadfast in his beliefs and his dedication to God, John entered the kingdom of Heaven prepared as one soul can be for judgement into everlasting life. His welcoming to death in this life left great peace to the loved ones he left behind.

Born in Chicago, Illinois January 27th, 1950 to parents Ann and John M.Towle Sr. He spent much of his childhood on the baseball diamond, a basketball court, the football field or the back of a class getting cracked by a ruler (taught by nuns). He was the oldest of three children leaving behind two sisters Patti (Michael) Bauler and Cindy (Ray) Jilek

In his twenties he packed up and headed west to the Old Pueblo. There he met the love of his life and his beautiful wife of 44 and a half years Iris Towle, who never left his side and was there to comfort him in his final dying breath. Together they raised 3 boys, John M. (Barbra) Towle III, Jake (Marissa) Towle and Kyle (Kristen) Towle. From them John was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren, John IV (JT), Lily, McKenzie, Jace, Kali and Kipp. John was a dedicated husband, a brother, a father, a grandfather and a great friend to all. His quick wit and dry humor left many lasting stories and memories to those he crossed paths with in life. John truly had a knack for bringing out laughter and smiles to all those he was around and he will be sorely missed. May the pain you endured on earth be a blessing for the eternal life you have now begun. We love you, rest in peace.
