Jolyn Naomi Pinzl

Jolyn Pinzl, age 68, passed away on August 11, 2025 in Tucson, AZ. Jolyn was born on July 8, 1957 in Maquoketa, Iowa. She graduated from Grafton High School in Wisconsin in 1975 and received her BS degree from University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in 1979. She met and married Robert (Bob) Pinzl on June 13, 1987.

Jolyn had a career in Healthcare/Medical Technologist and Clinical Applications Specialist. She worked for Theta Clark and Community Memorial Hospitals in Wisconsin, Cerner Corporation, and University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Husband of Mary Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary in Las Vegas and was a current member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Tucson.

She had a passion for cats, reading books, crafts, sporting events (specifically the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers), and loved her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Robert Pinzl

She is survived by her parents: Lyn and Joanne Socks; Siblings: Verne (Cory) Socks, Julie (Ken) Hunt; Aunts: Beverly Carson, Ava Moon, Karen (Dale) Lagerman; Uncle: Greg (Janet) Socks; Brother-in-Laws: Mike (Roxanne) Pinzl, Tom (Connie) Pinzl; Sister-in-Law: Patricia (Don) Lee; Nephews: Joshua (Liz) Socks, Daniel Socks, Kenny (Devin) Hunt, Jonathan (Mariah) Lee, Scott (Heather) Lee; Nieces: Megan (John) Pratt, Brianne Pinzl, Mikaela (Rich) Hillesheim, Michelle Pinzl, and Stacie (Matt) Haugen.

Services will be held on September 12 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton:

10:00 visitation

10:30 Rosary

11:00 Funeral Mass
