Jose was a good man full of life. He always had a smile on his face or something clever to say. His presence will be missed this holiday season and every celebration with the family. I am so grateful to have known him.

Jose was kind and funny, I am glad to have had the pleasure of knowing him and working with him. He was a friend and a collegue.
At the end of our day, we would talk about what was going on at work.
We talked about our families. Just anything really.  Our last conversation as he was walking out the door was about" His plan for the weekend and my plans for the weekend.  Then He just said enjoy your weekend, You work to hard, you need to take care of yourself and take time off. I told him that is the plan. And we laughed about it. 
We said good night, have a great weekend I will see you Monday." My heart broke,  Monday didn't happen, instead we received a message Jose had a heart attack.  
He is missed dearly by all of us who knew him.  I am glad I met his lovely wife Maria and his children.  He loved her and his family so much.
My prayers go out to them.  May God give them the confort and understanding to help them heal.

I worked closely with Jose for about a year before I went to a different facility. I will always remember his great sense of humor. I’ve lost count of how many times he’s made me crack up laughing. He was such a genuinely good guy. He was always the first one to help and the last one to leave. I will always cherish the moments of light he brought to what can oftentimes be a somber industry. The world became a much darker place this month. Jose had such a positive impact on the lives of so many people. My condolences go out to Jose’s family, as well as my promise that Jose’s memory will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend.

I worked with Jose, and alongside him, at two places. He was always very pleasant, knowledgable, and caring. We'd joke around sometimes and a couple different times get into deep philisphocal conversations. He truly loved his job as a therapist and he loved his patients. I was in shock to hear when he suddently fell ill, but I am relieved he is at peace now. My last day working along side him was days before his medical emergency, he helped me a lot that day...

I’m sorry to hear about Jose’s passing. He was my first manager when I started my career as a clinician. He always felt more like a work dad than a boss since he was so approachable. I remember he would shake his head and purse his lips with a crack of a smile when my best friend and I would goof of between our patients. He was a piece in the puzzle of my professional path and for that I am grateful. Praying for God’s comfort over the hurting hearts…Rest in peace Jose!
