Alexi and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I was Alexi's teacher at Robison and Joyce would come help in my classroom.  She was such a beautiful lady inside and out.  I will always remember her as a very loving and caring person.  Alexi,  I know that you two had a very special bond.  She will always be with you as your guardian angel. I have fond memories of my time in Tucson many years ago when as a single mom with no family there, your mom and her family welcomed me and my daughter Bridget into the family circle. My prayers are with you.  I have known Joyce since she was a teenager.  The Espino family lived not too far from Pio Decimo and so they were our neighbors and Fern was one of my students.  May she be enjoying the presence of God and may God comfort all of the family and friends.
