She was the daughter of Harry Wilhelm and Della Sacco Law. She had a brother, Francis Wilhelm and grew up as the younger sister.
She graduated from Tarentum High School in 1951. She married Richard Evans in August of 1951. They were married for 51 years, until his passing in 2002.
Richard enlisted in the Army and our mother was a military wife for 20 years. She had three children, Vicki, Ricki, who are twins, and son Terry. She spent her life raising three children and often alone when our father was deployed to various locations.
She was a wonderful mother, and who had a home that many families and friends sought as a place of entertainment and comfort. She entertained her entire life, even at 92. Her house was a home where she welcomed everyone with open arms. Our mother accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was 89 years old.
Our mother loved to travel and lived life to the fullest. She had been all over the world, Australia, Ireland, France, England and Italy. Italy was her favorite place of all. Of course, being a military wife, she lived in numerous places in the states, most often Massachusetts and also lived overseas in Japan and Okinawa.
She was also an avid sports fan. She loved watching the Pittsburg Steelers and the Arizona Wildcats basketball games.
She had a deep love for animals and leaves behind her beloved cat named Rocky.
