Lamarr Brandon Harrison was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Gary and Ora (Hill) Harrison.
Lamarr spent his first four years in Ypsilanti, Michigan where he attended Humpty Dumpty
Nursery School. Lamarr was driven to and from school by his grandfather, George Harrison (deceased).
Those trips to and from school were filled with many spirited debates.
In 1986, the family moved to Tucson, Arizona. By this time, a new addition had become part of the family, Lamarr’s brother Jonathan. As siblings normally do, they argued constantly. But, because of the love they had for one another, they shared a room, until Lamarr left for college.
Lamarr attended Golf Links Christian Academy, Fountain of Life Lutheran School, Booth Fickett Middle School and Palo Verde High School. If you knew Lamarr, you know he left an unforgettable impression at each school.
Lamarr went back to Michigan, where he attended school. While there, he received a certificate of Software Application, from Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Lamarr worked in telecommunications at Old Pueblo Practice Management (medical claims) and, most recently, Banner Hospital Communication.
Lamarr really liked Arizona Cardinal football and Houston Rockets basketball. When it came to politics, he was a vocal Independent.
Lamarr loved to laugh and would even perform stand-up comedy.
Lamarr was baptized at Eastside Assembly Of God in Tucson, Arizona. Lamarr spent many years participating in the youth group there. He loved the Lord. Lamarr read the Bible, from cover to cover, several times. He knew the word.
Lamarr is survived by his only child and loving daughter, Brooklyn Harrison; father and mother, Gary and Ora (Hill) Harrison; one brother, Jonathan Harrison; one nephew, Jayden Harrison; Aunts, Dorothy Bow, Mary Harrison-Hayes, Deborah Henderson (Robert), and Deborah Gary (Roderick); Uncles, Ira Harrison (Andrea), and Marvin Miller.
