Laura Patricia "Patty" Ortega, age 46, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born August 8th, 1976 in Nogales, Sonora, and lived in Tucson from childhood on. She is survived by a loving and devoted family; her parents, Alejandro Ortega and Graciela R. Ortega; her son, Antonio Rafael Martinez; and her siblings, Graciela and Daniel Santa Cruz, Alejandro Ortega, Isabella Ortega, Gabriella Ortega, and Ileana and Eric Lizarraga. Patty will be dearly missed by a wide community of family and friends.
Passionate and outgoing, with a zest for life unmatched, Patty is recalled by those who knew her as charismatic and fiercely loving. She lived freely, enjoyed fishing with her son, being outdoors, and riding passenger on motorcycles. She is remembered as a woman who gave whenever she could, and followed her heart at all times.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
