Lupita Encinas

Lupita Encinas, age 57, unexpectedly passed away on March 18, 2026, with her husband at her side. She was born on June 7, 1968, in Douglas, Arizona, and was a resident of Willcox, Arizona. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Lupita was taken from her family far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be remembered always.

Lupita was preceded in death by her father, Joe M. Duarte; her grandparents, Aberlardo and Josefina Duarte and Luis and Anastacia Perez; and several aunts and uncles. She is survived and deeply loved by her husband of 29 years, Juan; her son, Gabriel; her mother, Mary Lou Bracamonte (Robert); her sister, Ana Marisela Lindley (Rob); many uncles, aunts, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Apollo.

Lupita’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her kind heart, beautiful smile, and warm hugs. We love you, Lupita. Rest in peace.

Visitation will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701, on March 27, 2026, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. The Rosary will follow at St. Augustine Cathedral on March 27, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Cathedral on March 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Graveside Service will take place at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, on March 27, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
