Magdalena Q. Hurtado

She showed her strengths, courage, love and a big smile, no matter what came along. She was born in Los Alamos, Sonora, Mexico on 7/22/1927. She married Conrado C. Hurtado in 1948, and she studied hard to speak & write English by listening to 33 lp albums and she became a proud US citizen. Her determination had no limits or boundaries. She was a hard worker and nothing stood in her way.

Magdalena Q. Hurtado is preceded by her parents Santiago & Concepcion Quijada, her 7 siblings, and husband Conrado C. Hurtado, her son Conrad Q. Hurtado and grandson Conrad F. Hurtado.

Survived by her sister, Alicia Q. Cuevas and her daughter, Angela Hurtado, her grandchildren Rochelle (Frank), Persis, Ronald, Samantha (Roberto), Cameo (Miguel) and 15 great grandkids, 1 great great grandson. Many nieces, nephews, god children and many friends.

May her wings surround and comfort us, as she will be our Guardian Angel. Rest in Peace Madre, you’ll always be in our hearts and never forgotten.

Services will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Southlawn Cemetery 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. Hours for visitation will be held at 9am - rosary/service at 11am - burial at 1pm and join us for lunch to celebrate the times we had with Magdalena.
