

Margaret Fisher, 79, of Tucson, Arizona passed away April, 27, 2012 at home in the company of family and friends following a protracted battle with cancer. She was born August 28, 1932 in Erie, Pennsylvania and was the youngest of three siblings. She is survived by her brother Robert Stough, and predeceased by her parents, Charles and Anna Stough and her sister Martha Rondeau.
Margaret graduated from Florestone Mather College of Nursing in May of 1944 with a bachelors degree. She married Robert Fisher August 27, 1955 and worked as a home health care nurse. The couple relocated to Tucson after the completion of her husband's residency training where she raised three children. She served the community as a volunteer for children with cerebral palsy, and as the office manager for her husband's medical practice.
Margaret was an accomplished figure skater, a USFSA judge, and active in the local ice skating club. She is survived by her husband Dr. Robert Fisher, their three children, Scott and Craig Fisher, Leigh Stanton, and grandchildren Renee Fisher, Brady and Riley Stanton, Tobi Joan Fisher and multiple nieces and nephews. There will be a private memorial service and a celebration of her life in May.
