Margaret "Margarita" Perez Haro passed away on Sunday, July 23rd, 2017, after a courageous 3-year-long battle with ovarian cancer. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Haro; son, Raymond and daughter, Andreanna; sisters, Irene Gonzales, Olga (Frank) Camargo, Barbara (J.V.) Vaca, and brother, Joaquin (Alice) Perez. She joins in eternal peace; her father, Joaquin Perez, mother, Connie Perez (Barrajas), brother-in-law, Monte Gonzales, and nephew, Armando Camargo.
Born in Tucson, AZ on August 29, 1950 as the second of five siblings, Margaret enjoyed music and dancing all of her life. She was happiest when she was cooking for her loved ones and winning at the casino. Margaret devoted her life to her family and serving schools in Tucson; Palo Verde, Rincon, and Tucson High Schools.
Those who love Margaret know she had a great sense of style; from her well-styled hair, to her manicured nails and her thoughtfully chosen wardrobe, she was always dressed to impress.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5th at 3PM at SouthLawn Mortuary at 5401 S. Park Ave, 85706 with a celebration of her life to follow at 6PM at Sabbar Shrine Temple at 450 S. Tucson Blvd, 85716.
