Mary E Hogg

Mary E. Hogg, 98, passed away on October 15, 2013 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Friend, Nebraska on the family farm to Frank and Dora Agnes Adams in 1915. Mary was preceded in death by Loyal, her loving husband of 75 years. She is also preceded by her parents, three sisters, one brother, son, Dale and grandsons, Scott Hogg and Robbie Jones. She is survived by her children, Elton, John (Mary) Hogg and Shirley (Robert) Jones; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Married in 1937, Mary and Loyal moved to Tucson in 1943 for their son's health. They lived in the house they built for over 50 years. Mary is retired from the Tucson Unified School Food Services. She always enjoyed her family, reading, camping and fishing and doing beautiful needlework. After retirement she and Loyal spent 26 summers in Greer, Arizona. Mary is a Past Presiding Officer of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and a Past Grand Guardian of Arizona Job's Daughters. She is also a member of the Order of the Amaranth. Eastern Star Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Monday, October 21, 2013 at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson, Arizona.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
