The son of Carolyn Abbott & Ernie Alvarez. Michael always had the kindest heart ever since he was a little boy. Growing up he loved The Ninja Turtles (he was Michael Angelo). When he was a little boy he would lift his toy truck up, pretend he's fixing it. And would always walk around with his cowboy hat with his matching boots and can’t forget his toy six guns. He loved music! That was his passion, he would write raps, and he was good at it! His favorite artist was 2pac.
Michael's best friends were Randy Washington and Rey Alvarez (cousin). Ever since he was very young, he was a comedian making sure to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. Not to mention he is the best big brother you could imagine, he did pick on his sisters a lot but was always there for them.
He loved his family deeply. When Jeremiah was born, he became DAD, he loved his son and was very proud of him. He was always his happiest when he was with his son. Michael’s best time was being with his son and family; he loved to BBQ. Michael reached a point in his life where drinking took control. He went to a place called Church on the Street and realized Jesus loved him no matter what. Michael truly found Jesus and turned his life around. He would always try to help people. Delivering 50 burritos to the homeless, taking a homeless person to lunch, talking to them and listen to their story, trying to figure out how he can help them. He tried every day to do the best he could. Sending text messages to his loved ones, he would send prayers, and Bible verses to brighten our day.
Michael is survived by his son Jeremiah Alvarez, Mother, Carolyn Abbott, Father, Ernie Alvarez, Stepfather Michael Abbott, Stepmother Marjorie Warden. Sisters: Melissa Alvarez & Alexis Alvarez, nieces: Aaliyah and Aaniyah Hill, brother-in-law David Hill.
Michael will truly be missed; his light and positivity and his love for Jesus will remain in our hearts forever.
