

Milton Don Champion Jr. was born at Fort Huachuca military base on October 20,1956. Father was Milton Don Champion Sr, Mother Ruth Reyna Champion. Milton is the eldest of seven siblings: Carol, Edward, Samuel, Daniel, Philip, Timothy, and Teresa Champion. Survived by wife Gracie of 40 years and five children: Maria Elena, Jennifer, Michael, Milton III, and Emily. Followed by 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
In, Milton’s early childhood upbringing was spent in Tombstone Canyon, Az with Grandmother Reyna. Milton was also an excellent student throughout elementary, middle, and high school. Milton enrolled into the Army, went on to completing multiple classes at the local Community College, engineering certifications for Local 428, and obtaining his CDL license.
While in high school he was apart of the wrestling team. Where he met his best friend, Robert. Robert’s father introduced him into mechanical work building hot rods.
On the morning of April 07,1984 Milton and Gracie decided to get married. They purchased two rings from Perry’s jewelry shop and drove to Honorable Judge LeVette home and was married in his back yard witnessed by Aunt Cecilia and brother Samuel.
Milton Don Champion Jr. passed away at the age of 68 on January 27,2025 at 02:54pm. From, is departure from earth and on his journey back home to heaven he will be reunited with his family, Grandma Reyna, Mother Ruth, Philip, Joey, Pete, Edward, and Robert. Our family is blessed to know that he is not alone but in paradise.
A visitation for Milton will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:20 PM at Funeraria del Angel Catalina, 3435 N First Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85719. A religious ceremony will occur Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 3435 N First Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85719. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
