On behalf of the Cunes Families, we offer our deepest condolences on the loss of your son to Blanca and Morris, as well as your extended families.  We were very saddened to hear of his passing and hope that your memories and those shared by his friends will help you through these difficult times.  

Morris, ever since I heard the news last week, I've had this lump in my throat that I can't swallow away, a feeling of emptiness, and a constant swell of tears in my eyes.  You were such a ray of sunshine who touched so many people during your short time on earth.  My best memories of you are from high school. There was a time when we were the best of friends, talking on the phone all night long until we oftentimes fell asleep.  You still hold the record for the longest amount of time I've stayed on the phone with anyone... something like 9 hours? Ha!  At that time I could tell you anything and you never judged me... and you could always make me laugh, even when I was mad.  Life went on and we kind of went our separate ways. However whenever I'd see you around, we would go right back to where we left off... laughing, reminiscing.  Looking back, I regret not reaching out to you more.  I would do anything now to go back and make sure we stayed in better touch. It's crazy how fast time flies by and you think there will always be a next time...  Heather told me she saw you about a month ago and you asked how Tom and I were doing. Just like when you'd see me, you'd ask how my mom was.  That's how you were, always thinking about others, even if we hadn't seen you in a while. I know if you were here right now, you'd show off that big smile of yours and say, "why are you crying? Don't worry, be happy..." I am grateful that in the last conversation we had, I told you I loved you and missed you as a friend. So once again...  I love you, and thank you for impacting me in such a positive way. As much as my heart hurts right now, I'm so thankful our paths crossed and I was able to get to know you.  Bye for now... but not forever.

To the Flores family, my prayers go out to you.  As heartbroken as I am, I can't even imagine the pain that you are enduring.  He loved his family more than anything.  You should know that Morris was a good friend and loved by so many. He will be missed every day.

  You were always so kind to all that you touched. We are all a little better to have known you.

Morris there is a piece of our hearts missing that won't ever be filled eyes have been drained of tears for a life taken too soon. The only comfort that we have is that you are in the loving arms of our lord and savior, this is not goodbye this is we'll see you on the other side rest in peace pumpkin we love you.
