Norma L Valencia

Norma at age 75 of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on the morning Wednesday April 9th, 2025 at Casa De Los Abuelos Assisted Living Care Facility.

She was born June 6, 1949, to the late Juan (Johnny) and Vicky Lopez. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 29 years Frank V. Valencia and her brother Raymond Lopez. She is survived by her sister Barbara Chavez, daughter Francesca Alliman and granddaughter Nelly Alliman and several nieces and nephews and close cousins.

She was a foster mother for many years. She welcomed children of all ages that she temporarily cared for with open arms. Then years went by, and she found another vocation to assist children as a school bus monitor for 25 years of service with the Tucson Unified School District in 1993-2018.

After her retirement she spent her time visiting her cousins, spending time with her granddaughter, and visiting friends.

Norma's spirit lives in the hearts of all who knew her. Her love was a steady light, her sense of humor was contagious, and her memory will be cherished always.

A visitation for Norma will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur the next morning, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
