Pat E. Colson

Pat E. Colson, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, 84, of Tucson, Arizona, was called home to Heaven on May 25, 2025. She was born in Littlefield, Texas in 1940, but spent time here during her childhood. After graduating from Littlefield High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard Colson, and moved to the Tucson area to begin their married life together. Pat was a cherished wife and devoted mother to Rick, Mitch, Dave, and Linda. She poured her life into raising her children, focusing on supporting their education and activities. She volunteered countless hours as room mother, den mother, PTA officer, and as a founding member of the Sunnyside High School Band-Aides parent support group. She worked for the Sunnyside School District and retired after 28 years of service. Pat took joy in baking, her faith in Jesus, and extending her hospitality. She was never so happy as when her family was gathered around her. She was preceded in death by her mother Estelle, her sisters Shirley and Virginia, and her brothers Jimmy, Johnny, and Joe. She is survived by her brothers Bill and Steve, and her sister Dorothy. She is also survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard, her four children, and many grandchildren who will never doubt the depth of her love.

A funeral service for Pat will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712.
