Paul A. Dockins was born on a farm outside of Alta Vista, Kansas on July 13, 1930 to Arthur and Maggie Dockins. Paul is preceded in death by his brother, Harold Dockins. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Norma and four children: Sonia (Gordon) Vernon, Randall Dockins, Rodney (Becky) Dockins and Paula (Chris) Peltzer. Paul has several grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss him greatly. After high school, Paul joined the US Navy and served aboard the USS Frank Knox. He then went to work for the Federal Civil Service for 30 years. When he retired in Tucson, he went into the printing business with his son. Paul loved remodeling homes, traveling, spending time with his family at that lake and restoring old cars. On Thursday, January 21, 2016, Paul went home to be with his Lord. Services will be held at Rincon Baptist Church, 7500 E. Golflinks Rd. at 11am on Saturday, January 30, 2016.
