Our beloved grandfather, father, and husband, who left us just days shy of his 90th birthday passed peacefully, surrounded by his devoted wife, his daughter, and his loving grandchildren—family who meant everything to him.
A passionate boxing trainer and lifelong lover of the sport, he dedicated his life to the ring, mentoring countless fighters and teaching lessons that extended far beyond boxing—discipline, resilience, and heart. To him, boxing was never just about winning, but about character.
As Muhammad Ali once said, “He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.” He embodied this spirit, meeting every challenge with strength, courage, and determination until the very end.
To his friends and community, he was known as a leader in the local Italian community, a title earned through loyalty, leadership, and deep respect. He was deeply loved and will be remembered for his presence, wisdom, and unwavering spirit. His Thursday night dinners with “the guys” at the coffee club and bocce club were a pivotal part of his life and brought him his greatest joy.
He had a good fight. His legacy lives on through his family, his fighters, and the many lives he touched.
He is survived by Wife: Helen Chille, Children: Tina Sink (Bob), Renee Chille, Rich Chille (Lisa), Grandchildren: Jessica Strattman (Matthew), Alysha Collins, Jordan Collins, Nicole Carroll (Wesley), Brittany Sink, Vincent Harbison, Brandon Sink Great-grandchildren: Sophia Carroll, Aaliyah Collins
