Preceded in death by his wife Marlynn June Young, his parents Lambert and Ellen Young, his brother John and sister Ardeen.
Richard served in the Airforce from 1951 to 1955. While serving his country he met and married his wife of 50 years and had three children. Margaret Ellen Richardson (Chris), Steven Michael Young(Beth) and Richard Lambert Young, Jr.(Judy).
Dad was blessed with eight grandchildren. Nicholas Pike, Christy Henderson(Roy) Yolanda James (Jesse) Rebekah Trivitt (JD) Steven Young, jr (Bunny) Paula Gutierrez (Mike) Melissa Leon (Achilles) Timothy Young (Zerelda).
These grandchildren then added 20 great grandchildren with number 21 due this December. Dad felt very blessed to see his family grow and grow and grow!
Dad loved camping, coaching little league and serving in his church in whatever way he was needed.
We will miss dad but feel so blessed that he was able to spend 92 years with us. We know we will see him again on the other side of glory.
