Robert (Bob) was born on September 1, 1932, in Pontiac, Michigan to Verney and Ada Harrington.
He had one sister, Janet.
At the age of 18, Bob joined the US Air Force, at which time he also met and married the love of his life, Sarah Wease.
They were married for 67 years, and were blessed with three children: Daniel, Sharon and Alice.
Bob worked many years for Duval Copper Mine and then for Sun Tran. After retiring, he spent most of his time enjoying his family, and the second love of his life, Country & Bluegrass music.
He was a member of the Bluegrass Assoc. and the Old Time Fiddlers, playing every instrument that had strings.
Bob was preceded in death by his son, Daniel. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; children: Sharon Kizer (Jim) of Montana, and Alice Catlin of Tucson; grandchildren: Michael, Bobby, Joseph, Scott, Haley (Pete), and Eric; great-grandchildren: Ariel, Jamie, Alana, Noah, and Sienna.
A memorial service will be help on Friday, October 19 at GracePointe Church 2555 W Valencia Rd Tucson, AZ at 11am.
