Robert (Scotty, Bobby, Camera Bob) Thomson was born on January 3, 1937 in NYC. He passed on April 26, 2025 in Tucson, AZ. He is preceded by his wife Eugenia (Dochtermann) and Daughter Roberta (Jacinto). He is survived by daughters Eleanor Thomson and Heidi (Tadlock), five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He served in the Army with the 501st Signal Brigade/101st Airborne Division, Ft Campbell, Ky. He was an electrician by trade, working for Tucson Gas & Electric and he retired from the mines. He loved his family, photography, trains, camping/fishing and was a great social butterfly. He will be missed by many.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, from 10-noon, at the Gadsden-Pacific toy train museum, located at 3975 N Miller Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the museum or the Weakenders Camping Club.
