My family just found out today that Roy would not be coming by with our mail and conversion.  We always looked forward to seeing him and gave us such an uplift for the day!  He always took a minute to hug my grandkids Sarah and Robert.  Sarah had just written a letter to Roy, which she often would, and she didn't get to give it to him. so we will burn it so that he will receive it.  Love to all his family, and the grandson he often spoke of!  Thinking of you, The Stacys

We knew Roy only through the stories of his son-in-law, my brother, Gene Paulus.  Gene had the greatest respect and deep love for Roy.  Our prayers are with all the family members and the many friends Roy made during his life.  And especially for my little brother, his beautiful wife, Debra, and his mother-in-law, Ann, our deepest sympathies.  Anything you need, you have only to ask.

Mom...I was saddened to hear of Dad's passing.  May you find great comfort in the love of family and friends at this most difficult time. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

We here at Villa Maria Care Center are so saddened by Roy's passing. He has been our mailman for more years than I can count. We know he lived his life exactly how he wanted no matter how many times we would say "retire already Roy." He spoke of his beautiful wife often and we wish Ann all the family love and support she needs. Roy...we miss you so very much. Rest in peace.

Ann, Our deepest condolences to you and your family. We are all so saddened to hear of Roys passing. My mom Akemi(Kim) bowled with you on a womens league at DM before I was born while my dad Bob Koblinsky was in Vietnam. And then Both my parents bowled with you and Roy on a mixed league starting around 1969-1971 which was before I was born.  As far back as I remember I would go bowling with my parents at a very young age and run around with the other kids. I would always look forward to talking to you and especially Roy. I then joined the same league when I was 16. And then a few years later my son Micheal was born when I was still bowling on that same league and Roy would come and take my son from me before anyone else had the chance. And he would just make him laugh and smile. He told me he remembered me when I was born and always made me laugh too. I have never met a man with such a big and warm heart as Roy. He is the only one my son remembers from bowling to this day. My Dad and I bowled with Roy on other leagues over the years following and I even stopped to say Hi to him on his Postal route if I happen to see him. He will be very missed by my family and so many others.

I bowled with Roy for many years on Monday Mens at Camino Seco. Also bowled on Luck Strike Lucky Merchants Tuesday league. We were sorry to see him leave the league a couple of years ago. I always enjoyed bowling against him or just talking before bowling.
