Preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Perea Jacques; exwife, Delia Basurto Jacques; parents, Carlota and Reginaldo Jaquez. Survived by Son, Rufus T. Jacques, daughter in-law, Joanna Jacques, and daughter Sylvia Jacques-Long; sister, Maria Lupe Jacques; and brother Charlie T. Jacques. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Rosary and Mass will be offered Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 10 am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 801 N. Grande Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Rufus served his country in the Korean and Vietnam war, retired Airforce with many honors including 2 purple hearts. He worked over 20 years and retired a second time as a civilian from Hughes and AMARG. Arrangements by Funeraria Del Angel.
