We stayed at the Thunderhead Ranch in the early 1950's on several occasions. What a joy and experience to be there. Ruth, Slats, Mrs. Dailey, later little Sue on her little pony, all part of a marvelous part of our childhood, and the many memories and stories from our times together. Ruth was a trail blazer, an innovator, and a devoted Christian woman.  She was kind and courageous. I am so thankful that I was blessed to have worked with her a few years ago (when she was 84-88!) on a volunteer scholarship committee with the Institute for Better Education. Ruth did all she could - for as long as she could...and now she is peacefully worshipping Jesus.

Ruth was a pioneer with both her flying and her attitude about woman. See you at the pearly gates.

What an amazing woman !!!  Our family has known Ruth for 28 years.  Every time I pull into the Ranch I feel her presence everywhere. Our prayers and thoughts are with all the family.

Jerry and I remember Ruth with love and admiration. She was a woman with many accomplishments, yet so very humble in spirit. Our years in Tucson, serving with Ruth at Pantano Baptist Church, hold special memories for us. Her faith in Jesus Christ was displayed through every thread of her life. She was an awesome lady! Praying for strength and comfort for Sidney, Jay, and all the family through these difficult days.
