Although very talented and creative, Shayla’s greatest accomplishment was being an exceptional, loving and supportive mother. She was so proud to be a mom and adored her beautiful children. Delijah, Seniya and Jasceon were the nucleus of her universe. She did everything possible to ensure unconditional love and security for her kids. She instilled great values, taught them to be kind and respectable and always stressed the importance of proper behavior. Shayla’s presence will truly be missed but her teachings and guidance will live on in her children.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Booker, sister, Monica Dowling, maternal grandmother, Lelia Gibson and grandfather Vernon Roach, Sr, paternal grandfather Wilbert D. Booker, Sr. Shayla will be lovingly remembered by her devoted father, Wilber D.
