Our Mother went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on September 24, 2013. She is predeceased by her husband Jose E. Lopez. Survived by her four sons; Richard (Mary). Frank (Connie), John (Lucy), and Paul (Ofelia) Lopez. Nine grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren. Stepdaughters, Clorinda Rangel and Chita Arellano. Sisters; Emily Trainer, Jenny Aranda, brother Peter Aranda and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Socorro was a resident of Tucson for over 53 years. A 9:30 a.m. Visitation and a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd. with Pastor Gilbert Garcia officiating.
