Steven Anthony Corral

It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the home going of our precious Son, Husband, Daddy, Nephew and Cousin; Steven Anthony Corral. Born June 11, 1983. Home going October 21, 2014 at 11:58 PM (officially October 22, 2014). One breath of that celestial air and he was forever home. As Christians, God has promised us a grand reunion day!

He is survived by his wife Melissa Nicole and four children: Tristan Anthony Avinger, Jayden David, Moriya Lynae and Alyzabeth Alyce (Aly Bug), his mother and dad Carol and Gary Click, Aunt Norma (Mike) Thornley of Holly Hill, SC, cousins Jennifer, Amanda, Sherry; Aunt Sarah (Paul) Thiel of Anchorage, AK and cousin Jorryn. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Herbert (Popeye) and Liz (Nana) Avinger.

He was a man who loved the Lord and his family. He was a licensed Exhorter in the Church of God and his desire was to be in full time ministry. He had served as Youth Pastor at Family Life Center COG and Desert View COG. He loved to sing and often sang on the Praise Team.

The void he leaves in our lives cannot ever be measured. He loved to travel and had recently made a trip to San Diego with his family. We are so grateful he was able to take this trip. It will be forever etched in the mind of his wife and children. He loved to fish and when it came to snow, he was like a child in a candy store. He was an avid Colts fan. Steven was very close to his mother and dad and as he was lent to us by the Lord, we now give him back to the Lord. We cannot bring him back but we can go to where he is.

Steven was going through alot of things physically and before his passing, he said, "Lord, whatever you're going to do for me, please do it quickly". Little did we know, the Lord would be taking him home immediately. We wanted his healing in the natural, but God had a bigger plan. He stood on the promise of Isaiah 40:31 "But they wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint". He is now living in the reality of that promise. He is whole, he is HOME sitting at the feet of Jesus.

Steven would want you to know Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people and if you don't know the Lord as your personal Savior, there's no time like the present. "For it is appointed unto man once to die and after that, the judgement", Hebrews 9:27.
