HAWKINS, Suzanne Blake Lord born in Cortland, New York, August 18, 1941 passed away on October 29, 2016 at Peppi's House. A mother who loved with all her heart, who persevered through many challenges and to the end enjoyed ice cream with every bite. She loved to laugh and we will remember her forever in our hearts. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints,". Survived by sons, Steve Lord, Jeff (Angie) Lord and daughter Julie (Patrick) Smith. Along with grandchildren, Aliyah and Jocelyn Bailey, Karina, Keenan, Kyra, Kainos, Kemuel, and Patrick Smith Jr. Viewing Thursday, November 3, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Graveside Service following at South Lawn Cemetery. Preceded in death by parents, Aloys and Dorothy Blake. We are grateful for the care provided by Dr. Michael Moynihan and the hospice team at TMC Hospice and Peppi's House.
