Theresa Marie Tritchel

Theresa “Terry” Marie Tritchel, born Theresa Marie Labriola, was born on February 19, 1932, in Passaic, New Jersey, and passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025. Nineteen years to the day after the passing of her beloved husband, Richard G. Tritchel, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years of marriage.

Terry was a woman of warmth, creativity, and quiet joy. She found delight in collecting treasures, decorating her home with care, and spending hours thrifting for unique finds. Above all, she cherished time with her family, whose lives were continually brightened by her presence and her steady love. To her great-grandchildren, she was affectionately known as “Grandma with the Red Glasses”, “Grammoo” , “Ama” and “Nana Red” names that captured the closeness, comfort, and playful spirit she brought into their lives.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her grandson, David C. Showell. She is survived by her devoted children: Denise Showell and her husband, Jeffrey, and Richard J. Tritchel and his wife, Martha.

Terry’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Maritza Conrad (Jesse), Doug Showell (Lydia), Anthony Tritchel (Tori), and Whitney Trautman and her great-grandchildren: Austin, Izabelle, Ben, Christopher, Joey, Reese, Beckham, Noah, and Shepard. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, John Labriola (Jean) and Family.

Terry’s life was defined by love, family, and the simple joys that made each day brighter. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held on December 16, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, located at 1800 N Camino Pío Décimo, Tucson, AZ 85715.

The funeral service will follow on the same day from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the same location.

The committal service is scheduled for December 16, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712.
