Thomas David Lynch, Jr, 90, passed away peacefully at his residence Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born in Oneonta, New York on May 17, 1931, the son of Thomas D. and Ethel (Hecox) Lynch. He graduated from Oneonta High School and served in the United States Air Force in Korea. He was honorably discharged as an Airman Second Class in 1954.
He married Barbara Kay Jenks, also of Oneonta, in 1953. They relocated to California, living in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years. He worked as a carpenter and general contractor until his retirement.
He is survived his daughters, Beckie (Douglas) Kinghorn, Amy Lynch, Frances Lynch, Shauna (Wayne) Eisenmann, and Kathleen Miller; grandchildren Jacob Klever, Josiah Klever, David Kinghorn, Michael Kinghorn, Robert Miller, Rachel Miller, and Nicholas Slugg; and great grandchildren Archis Kinghorn and Arya Kinghorn. He was predeceased by his wife Kay (Jenks) Lynch, a sister, Nancy Anne Lynch, a brother, William John Lynch, son-in-law Kenneth Miller; and his parents.
