Tyler Jeffrey Grove born December 8, 1985, computer genius, foodie, and die hard Steeler fan passed suddenly on Saturday, August 3, 2013. He could simultaneously beat you at a game of chess, give you an overview of the latest Civil War novel he is reading, while chomping down on one of his mother's famous recipes, especially her chicken casserole. What a beautiful, kind soul he was. He loved long talks with his mother (Letitia Grove), dissecting educational television with his father (Jeffrey Grove), mountain biking with his brother (Jason Grove), remodeling homes with his other brother (Travis Grove), debating medical terminology with his sister-in-law (Lisa Grove) cuddling with his niece (Sophia Grove), sharing books with his other sister-in-law (Sara Grove), and cracking jokes with his sister (Ashley Grove). He was also the most consistent regular in Nana's kitchen, in which he would single-handedly devour her refrigerator's contents while catching the latest sports game with his Tata. Tyler's mind was a sponge, soaking up all the history novels, informative films and always attracted incredibly eccentric people. He had an immense amount of knowledge that he was willing to share with any friendly face. His sense of humor varied from political jargon to "blond" jokes, you could always count on Ty for a laugh. Although his time was cut short and he will be missed with conviction, we would like to celebrate the life that has made ours worth living for. We will be holding a service this Friday, August 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd. After the ceremony we will be conducting an Outside Balloon Release.
