Tynne A Gurske-Ludvigson

She was born in Sawyer, Minnesota on 11/29/1926 and peacefully transitioned on February 8, 2019 at Sage Desert Memory Care, Tucson.

Mom met and married Clayton Gurske in Duluth, Minnesota on Jan 25, 1947 until his death Oct 1997. She loved baking, dancing to big band music, fishing, camping, and all sports Minnesota. They also traveled to and resided in Grand Marais, Minn. for 14 years before moving to Tucson & Tucson Estates in the mid 70’s. During their years in Tucson Estates, mom enjoyed swimming, was an exercise leader, which she put together exercise steps to music and are still being used. Mom also created beautiful needlepoint nature pictures. Mom met Bud in Tucson Estates and were happily married in 2004 until his death in March 2012.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Elizabeth & William Maki, husband, Clayton Gurske (1997), husband, “Bud” Ludvigson (2012) twin daughter, Janice Love (2013), sister, Millie Bolme (2014) and sister-in-law, Elaine Stevens, and numerous other loved ones.

She is survived by twin daughter, Janet Rosales of Tucson, Son-in-laws, Joe Rosales and Walter Love, Step- daughters, Karen Romness (Jerry)of Thomplin, MN, Ann Hiner (George) of Nevada City CA, & Peg Winters of Fargo, ND and their families. 5 grandchildren, Janine, Lynnette, Cathleen, Kenneth, & Steve, 2 step-grandchildren, Christina & Lorie, 6 great-grandchildren, 8 step great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. and is also survived by special nieces, Jackie Ann Kohn (Mike) of Duluth, MN, Sharon Willkins (Ed) of Oak Harbor, WA, Kathy Bolme (Jim) of Kalispell, MT and Nephews John Bolme of CO, Clayton Stevens (Cyndy) & Eugene Stevens (Leslie) of Duluth, MN.

Special thank you to Brookdale where Mom was wonderfully cared for 6 years, to Casa de la Luz Hospice, and especially to the very special staff at Sage Desert Memory Care for their exceptional care given during the last 8 months of her life.
