

Nikki, a longtime USTA official and ranked doubles player in the Southwest, was a fierce competitor who demonstrated strength, tenacity and discipline on and off the court.
Born August 22, 1935 in Keokuk, IA, Nikki was the youngest of five siblings. She was a member of the first graduating class at Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, AZ.
Nikki worked as a legal secretary for Judge Marks before retiring to start a family.
In addition to tennis, Nikki enjoyed spending time with family, playing table tennis and lifting weights, hosting BBQs and watching University of Arizona women’s softball and men's basketball games. She also was a voracious reader, accomplished painter and impeccable homemaker.
Her family wants to thank all of Nikki's doctors and staff at Peppi’s House Hospice.
Nikki was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Marshall, who died in October 2014. She is survived by her four children, Terri Marshall, Sheri Siwek (Mike), Lori Marshall, Craig Marshall (Marisa); ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister Peggy Angelastro (Mike) and her brother the Rev. Monsignor Robert Fuller.
Mass and burial will be held at Holy Hope Mausoleum, 3555 N Oracle Road, in Tucson at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22nd. In Nikki's words, "Life happens." Arrangements by Desert Rose Heather Cremation and Burial.
